Article1. introduction
(a) A charity is a non-profit association registered under Manitoba law in 2025 to provide financial and moral assistance to its members in times of bereavement.
(b) This association is independent of religion and politics and any interested person who has read and understood the rules of the welfare association has the right to become a member.
(c) The charity shall be governed by its registered members and shall be governed in accordance with this bill.
Article2. The purpose and vision of the Association
2.1 Purpose
(a) Our society is established to help each other in times of need.
(b) The charity is established for this purpose and any interested person over the age of 18 has the right to become a member of the charity.
2.2 Vision
(a) Provide financial and moral assistance to a member of the association in the event of death.
(b) Collect annual dues from members to cover expenses.
(c) Pay to members who comply with the law such sums as may be prescribed by the Administrative Code.
(d) Every member of the Association shall cooperate in his social life in love and cooperation.
(g) Increase the financial capacity of the association by exploring other sources of income.
(f) Build a strong and sustainable charity in the City of Winnipeg that is characterized by its financial and material capacity.

Article 3. Duties and Rights of Member
3.1 Duty
(a) Must read, understand and accept the rules and regulations of the charity.
(b) Must complete a charity application form, pay registration and annual fees.
(c) Must be over 18 years of age.
(d) Must duly attend the Annual Meeting.
(g) Is responsible for properly retaining all payment documents in order to obtain necessary assistance from the Association.
3.2 Rights
(a) At the time of the death of his family, he shall be entitled to $10,000.00 (ten thousand dollars) as determined by the laws of the Association.
(b) He shall be accompanied by all members of the Society during mourning.
(c) Has the right to vote and be elected or nominated at the time of election.
Article 4. Membership Registration, Annual Fees, and Penalties
4.1 Registration
(a) Any person who wishes to become a member of a charity shall pay a registration fee of $120.00 Canadian dollars.
4.2 Annual Fees
(a) Every registered member of the Association shall pay annual dues of $120.00 from January 1st to May 15th.
(b) Any member of the Association who moves from the City of Winnipeg to other regions shall have the right to remain a member of the Association.
4.3 Penalties
(a) A member who does not pay by the due date will be given the opportunity to secure his/her membership by paying double ($240.00) between April 16 and April.
(b) Anyone who has not paid his penalty by May 30 shall be disqualified from membership and shall be deprived of death benefits.
(c) Any member who fails to perform his or her duties shall be disqualified from membership upon written notice by the members of the Board.
(d) Failure to attend a regular meeting without notifying the chairman or secretary shall be punishable by 50% of the annual fee.

Article 5. The Executive Committee and its Functions
5.1 Executive Committee
(a) Election of the Executive Committee shall be held once every four years and shall be elected by the members at the Annual Meeting. The number of executive committees is 7 and the term of office is 4 years.
(b) Elected Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer, Controller, Public Relations and two members.
(c) It shall be decided by the plenary assembly to approve, amend or replace any law.
(d) All the Executive Committee shall meet and draft a rule, which shall be submitted to the full Assembly and approved.
(g) Any member of the Committee who wishes to resign shall submit reasons in writing to the Executive Committee.
5.2 Work
(1) The Chairman:
(a) He shall be the first to be called upon for matters pertaining to the Association.
(b) Conduct meetings, monitor the activities and income of the Association, and collect suggestions for the benefit of the Association.
(2) The Secretary
(a) Assist the Chairman, and preside over meetings in the absence of the Chairman.
(b) Keep the minutes of the meeting and record them if necessary.
(c) Extend invitations to meetings to the members of the Association.
(3) Treasurer
(a) collect annual fees from members and deposit them in the bank account of the association;
(b) Together with the Chairman, keep and record the accounts properly, forward the names of the members who have paid and have not paid the annual dues to the Chairman and the Controller of the Association;
(4) Controller
(a) Seriously monitor and control the fixed and movable property of the Association.
(5) Public Relations
(a) Working to maintain a positive image of the association.
Article 6. Forms of Meeting and Quorum
6.1 Meeting Forms
(a) The Annual Meeting shall be held in the month of April each year.
(b) Decisions at the meeting shall be made by a majority vote.
(c) Where there is an equality of votes, the vote of the Chairman shall have effect.
(d) The date of the meeting is announced a month in advance by the whatsapp group of the association.A reminder is given a week in advance.
(g) Spouses may be represented at a meeting by one(husband or wife).
(f) Ensure that the type of committee of the association includes as many of both genders and all age groups as possible.
6.2 Quorum
(a) A quorum must be more than 51% to pass a resolution.
(b) In the event of a quorum, the Executive Committee shall schedule another day.
(c) If a second plenary session is not held, a resolution passed by the members present shall be adopted as the rules of the association.

Article 7. Consumer
(a) The spouse of the enrolled principal member who receives benefits from the charity.
(b) A child under the age of 18 years.
(c) The child is under 25 years of age and resides at the parents’ address and is a full-time student with no income.
(d) are under 25 years of age and are not married or common law spouses.
(g) Unable to support themselves financially due to physical or mental difficulties.
Article 8. Withdrawal from Association
(a) If a registered member voluntarily withdraws from the association, his advance payment shall not be refunded.
(b) If a registered member is expelled from the association for failing to comply with the laws of the association, his advance payment shall not be refunded.

Article 9. Additional Contributions
(a) If there is insufficient funds in the bank account of the charity to cover the death of a registered member of the charity, each registered member shall contribute an additional $50.   

(b) In the event of more than one death, if the funds in the bank account of the charity are insufficient, the funds shall be divided equally among both members. Every registered member contributes an additional $50.00.

(c) If there is no fund in the bank account of the charity, the Executive Committee shall convene an emergency meeting and all members of the association shall meet and pass a resolution in favor of the charity.

Article 10. Revocation Procedure
(a) Membership fees can be paid by e-transfer to the charity email [email protected]. It is his duty to enter the full name and telephone number of the registered member in the comment box.

These members of the Executive Committee are the main founders of the charity and lead the association temporarily until the number of members reaches 150. When the number of members reaches 150, a general meeting is convened to elect a seven-member Executive Committee to lead the association permanently.
